Tania Cortas, M.D., C.P.E., joined City of Hope® in 2023. As a medical oncologist and hematologist, Dr. Cortas focuses her practice on the treatment and management of all types and stages of cancer, with expertise in a variety of malignancies, including breast, thoracic, gastrointestinal, genitourinary and both malignant and benign hematologic conditions. She is fluent in English, French and Arabic.

Amber Flaherty, M.D., joined City of Hope® in 2023. As a medical oncologist and hematologist, Dr. Flaherty focuses her practice on the treatment and management of all types and stages of cancer, with specialized focus and expertise in genitourinary malignancies, such as prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular malignancies. She is triple board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology and is fluent in Spanish.

Paul Gellhaus, M.D., is an associate clinical professor of surgery and director of robotic surgery at City of Hope Phoenix. A recognized leader in urologic oncology and robotic (minimally invasive) surgery, Dr. Gellhaus brings innovative treatment options to patients with genitourinary and urologic disorders, including kidney, ureteral, testicular, prostate and bladder cancers.

Linda Ling-Ying Liu, M.D., is a board-certified breast cancer surgeon at City of Hope Care Center Scottsdale and City of Hope Cancer Center Phoenix. With more than 20 years’ experience in her field and a collaborative approach to care, Dr. Liu is dedicated to working closely with patients to ensure they receive innovative, compassionate care and superior aesthetic results.

As a medical oncologist at City of Hope Phoenix, Divneet Mandair, M.D., M.S., brings both his clinical and research expertise to his work with patients diagnosed with prostate cancer, bladder cancer and other genitourinary diseases. His goal for his patients is to create personalized and effective treatment plans that incorporate the latest research advances. Dr. Mandair pairs his compassionate approach to care with a deep knowledge of innovative treatment options, such as radiology therapy and PARP inhibitors for prostate cancer.

Farshid Sadeghi, M.D., is the chief of surgery and a urologic oncologist at City of Hope Phoenix, where he works with patients diagnosed with a variety of genitourinary conditions, including kidney, bladder and prostate cancer. He is a board-certified urologist with more than 25 years of experience in cancer care and research.

Aleksandar Sekulic, M.D., Ph.D., is director of dermatology and translational research at City of Hope® Cancer Center Phoenix and Physician-in-Chief at City of Hope’s Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), also located in Phoenix. Inspired by a desire to bring research innovations from the laboratory to the clinic, Dr. Sekulic is a renowned physician-scientist who has pioneered new approaches to skin cancer, with a particular focus on immunotherapy and precision medicine. As a board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Sekulic treats a wide range of skin cancers, from melanoma to cutaneous T cell lymphoma, pigmented lesions and epidermal neoplasms. His goal is to provide whole-person, individualized care for every patient, supported by innovative cancer therapies. Dr. Sekulic is building the new dermatology and cutaneous oncology program at City of Hope Phoenix that will harness the power of City of Hope’s and TGen’s research programs to offer advanced care for skin cancer patients.

Dr. Marnee Spierer joined City of Hope Phoenix in 2014 as a radiation oncologist and currently serves as the Chief of Radiation Oncology. In her role as a radiation oncologist, Dr. Spierer provides radiation treatment for all types and stages of cancer, with a special focus on breast and gynecologic cancers. As part of a multidisciplinary team of cancer specialists, Dr. Spierer has extensive expertise in leading-edge radiation techniques for both therapeutic and palliative treatment.

Debra A. Wong, M.D., is a board-certified medical oncologist and medical director for AccessHopeTM, where she leads organizational development and integration of clinical strategy. She maintains broad expertise in solid tumor oncology and advocates for integrating supportive care and quality-of-life measures into precision oncology care. For her humanity and whole-person approach, she has earned recognition among peers and patients alike.
