Safe, Quality and Equal Access to Leading-Edge Care and Research — That's Our Goal
City of Hope® delivers tomorrow’s advances in cancer care to those who need them today. Founded in 1913, City of Hope is a world leader in cancer treatment and prevention, with experts across the nation at the forefront of cancer research, transforming laboratory breakthroughs into treatments that outsmart cancer. City of Hope expanded in 2022, adding locations throughout Arizona, Illinois and Georgia, extending the clinical care footprint of City of Hope nationally. This expansion created one of the largest geographic footprints in cancer research and treatment.
With four locations in Arizona, we are helping close the care gap in the communities we serve. As part of our clinical integration, disease group practices and research efforts are organized nationally with physicians and researchers at all sites carrying academic appointments at City of Hope. In Arizona, the research efforts are augmented by the Translational Genomic Research Institute (TGen), which became part of City of Hope in 2016. Established in Arizona in 2002, TGen is a leader in genomic-based biomedical research with extensive national and international collaborations. Backed by the power of 1,600 physicians and researchers across the nation, City of Hope Cancer Center is dedicated to improving patient outcomes and survival rates for Arizonans.
