Alan H. Bryce, M.D., joined City of Hope® Cancer Center Phoenix as the chief clinical officer in 2023 and is currently the interim president of City of Hope Phoenix. As a medical oncologist and researcher, Dr. Bryce holds a dual title as professor of the Department of Molecular Medicine at Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), also part of City of Hope and located in Phoenix. As an oncologist with City of Hope Phoenix, Dr. Bryce focuses his practice on genitourinary cancers, primarily prostate and testicular cancers, with specialized expertise in cancer research and genomics in prostate cancer.

Farshid Sadeghi, M.D., is the chief of surgery and a urologic oncologist at City of Hope Phoenix, where he works with patients diagnosed with a variety of genitourinary conditions, including kidney, bladder and prostate cancer. He is a board-certified urologist with more than 25 years of experience in cancer care and research.

Internationally renowned liver and pancreas surgeon Gagandeep “Gaugs” Singh, M.D., F.A.C.S., is chief of surgical oncology and director of surgical services at City of Hope Phoenix. A seasoned health care leader with more than 20 years’ experience building outstanding surgical teams, Dr. Singh is excited to return to Phoenix – where he completed part of his medical training – and to City of Hope, where he spent a decade as the chief of City of Hope Duarte’s surgical oncology program. In the clinic, Dr. Singh takes a thoughtful yet forceful approach to treating cancers of the liver, pancreas and gastrointestinal systems.

Professor, Department of Hematology & Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation
Tibor Kovacsovics, M.D., joined City of Hope in 2023. In his role as a hematologic oncologist and Medical Director of Leukemia at City of Hope Phoenix, he works with a multidisciplinary team of providers dedicated to diagnosing and managing hematologic malignancies and other blood disorders. Dr. Kovacsovics has extensive expertise in the clinical management of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and amyloidosis, as well as in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. He brings with him 20 years of experience conducting clinical research on a variety of hematologic malignancies, serving as principal investigator and co-investigator on dozens of groundbreaking studies.

Sagun Shrestha, M.D., is the Chief of Medical Oncology at City of Hope® Cancer Center Phoenix, where she oversees clinical care for patients undergoing treatment for a wide range of cancer types. She focuses particularly on treating lung cancer, melanoma, head and neck cancer, breast cancer, sarcoma and brain tumors. Drawn to her role at City of Hope by the organization’s focus on treating the whole person, mind, body and soul, Dr. Shrestha works alongside other physicians, supportive care providers and care managers to establish a personalized care plan for each patient, with the goal of helping patients and their loved ones make informed decisions about their care.
