Snehal Bhoola, M.D.

Gynecologic Oncologist
Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Surgery

Snehal Bhoola, M.D., joined City of Hope in 2023. As a gynecologic oncologist, Dr. Bhoola focuses his practice on the diagnosis and management of all types and stages of gynecologic malignancies, including ovarian, cervical, uterine, endometrial and vulvar cancers, with a special focus on novel therapies for ovarian cancer and cervical cancer prevention. Having performed over 3,500 robotic surgeries, Dr. Bhoola is an expert in the surgical management of gynecologic malignancies. He works with a multidisciplinary team of subspecialists, providing all aspects of cancer care to women with gynecologic malignancies, from diagnosis through survivorship.

Christopher Chen, M.D., M.B.A., joined City of Hope Phoenix in July 2023 as a medical oncologist and hematologist at City of Hope Gilbert Outpatient Care Center, and is the Medical Director of Community Practices for City of Hope Phoenix. Dr. Chen has expertise in treating patients with all types and stages of cancers and blood disorders. Throughout his career, he has developed a particular interest in treating breast cancer, lung cancer, hematologic malignancies and benign hematology disorders. Dr. Chen primarily sees patients at his Gilbert office but has access to the multidisciplinary services at the hospital in Goodyear.

Michael Christensen Phoenix

Michael T. Christensen, M.D., M.B.A.

Radiation Oncologist
Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Radiation Oncology

Michael T. Christensen, M.D., M.B.A., is a board-certified radiation oncologist at City of Hope Cancer Center Phoenix, practicing at the City of Hope Cancer Center Gilbert location. He collaborates closely with multidisciplinary cancer care teams to offer advanced radiation therapy options for a wide range of cancer types. Dr. Christensen also provides low-dose therapeutic radiation treatments for non-cancer conditions such as osteoarthritis, helping patients reduce pain and improve mobility.

Linda Ling-Ying Liu, M.D.

Linda Ling-Ying Liu, M.D., is a board-certified breast cancer surgeon at City of Hope Care Center Scottsdale and City of Hope Cancer Center Phoenix. With more than 20 years of experience in her field and a collaborative approach to care, Dr. Liu is dedicated to working closely with patients to ensure they receive innovative, compassionate care and superior aesthetic results.

Farshid Sadeghi, M.D.

Farshid Sadeghi, M.D., is the chief of surgery and a urologic oncologist at City of Hope Phoenix, where he works with patients diagnosed with a variety of genitourinary conditions, including kidney, bladder and prostate cancer. He is a board-certified urologist with more than 25 years of experience in cancer care and research.

Sumana Veeravelli, M.D.

Medical Oncologist and Hematologist
Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research

As a hematologist and medical oncologist at City of Hope Cancer Center Gilbert, Sumana Veeravelli, M.D., works with patients with a wide range of cancer types and blood disorders, with a special interest in breast cancer and genitourinary cancers. She believes in a compassionate approach to care that incorporates innovative treatment options while providing individualized care centered on her patients' goals and quality of life.
