About Our Program

At City of Hope® Cancer Center Phoenix, with four locations across the Valley, we provide multidisciplinary care to diagnose and treat all types and stages of breast cancer. Our program offers patients the specialty care they deserve from diagnosis through survivorship, with physicians who specialize in early stage and advanced stage breast cancer. Additionally, we offer a high-risk breast cancer program to individualize risk profiles and provide optimal strategies for early detection.

Our program provides a uniquely personalized, leading-edge cancer care experience for breast cancer, including:

  • Access to a multidisciplinary team comprised of experts in breast cancer, including surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, supportive care team members and more
  • Advanced surgical techniques such as nipple-sparing mastectomy and microsurgical options for immediate or delayed reconstruction
  • An established precision medicine program that incorporates genetic sequencing and profiling of primary tumors to determine strategic targeted therapies or clinical trial opportunities

  • An accredited breast center by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancer (NAPBC), granted to facilities that provide the best possible care to patients with diseases of the breast
  • A Surgical Quality Partner, a distinction earned through the American College of Surgeon's quality program, which was awarded through our participation in NAPBC
  • A Designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center by the American College of Radiology, with full accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, ultrasound-guided breast biopsy and breast MRI
  • A program accredited by the American Society of Radiation Oncology's Accreditation Program For Excellence® for providing high quality and safe radiation oncology care to patients

Additionally, several of our physicians hold faculty positions both within City of Hope and externally, and have obtained unique certifications or fellowship training specifically for breast cancer.

The entire breast cancer team works in a multidisciplinary care environment and participates in regularly scheduled breast cancer tumor boards with experts from across the City of Hope national cancer system, ensuring patients receive the best treatment options available.
