Leading-edge Lymphoma Care, World-renowned Expertise

City of Hope® Duarte is a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center and has been named one of the nation's best hospitals for cancer in U.S. News & World Report's annual rankings for the past 19 years. For 2025-26, these rankings placed City of Hope among the top 10 in the nation for the fourth consecutive year. Our world-renowned lymphoma team has also been recognized for multiple years as “high performing” in the treatment of all types of the disease, including T cell, mantle cell and Hodgkin lymphomas, as well as chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

Our dedication to offering leading-edge care for lymphoma is longstanding: City of Hope has one of the largest and most established bone marrow and stem cell transplantation programs in the country, and we pioneered the use of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy for patients with hematologic disorders. The multidisciplinary lymphoma team at City of Hope is also dedicated to researching and developing new treatment options that will shape the future of care for patients with a wide range of blood cancers.

Our Approach to Care

The City of Hope approach is centered on excellence in clinical care and a commitment to offering patients the most innovative lymphoma treatments available.

If you refer a patient to our multidisciplinary lymphoma team, they will benefit from:

  • A multidisciplinary team with expertise in every subtype of lymphoma, including T cell lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia, as well as rare subtypes, like cutaneous T cell, double-hit B cell and AIDS-related lymphomas
  • Access to one of the nation’s largest and most successful bone marrow and stem cell transplantation programs, with over 20,000 procedures performed to date with exceptional survival rates, according to the Center for International Blood & Marrow Transplant Research
  • Our extensive clinical trials program, which offers access to innovative therapeutic interventions for lymphoma and a wide range of other blood cancers
  • Our comprehensive CAR T cell therapy program, which is the largest in the Western United States, with more than 1,800 patients treated for hematologic cancers and solid tumors since its inception more than 25 years ago
  • Access to outpatient CAR T cell, bispecific antibody and stem cell transplant programs, each of which delivers specialized therapies in an outpatient facility that includes convenient on-campus lodging
  • Support from the Toni Stephenson Lymphoma Center, which is committed to eliminating lymphoma by developing immune-based, nontransplant therapies
  • Genetic testing and targeted therapies that can help create personalized treatment plans based on a cancer’s genetic profile
